The Rock and Roll Chef / BBQ Sauce Home Made

BBQ Sauce Home Made Recipe

This is the easiest way to make BBQ sauce in the world. In fact you will never purchase expensive BBQ sauces again! Give my take of the best rock and roll BBQ sauce in the world. Follow my step by step easy instructions and you also will have great rock and roll BBQ sauce. Don’t be afraid, just get stuck in and do it!

The Main Ingredients:
One can of chopped tomato, chopped fine onion, chopped fine garlic, dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, sun dried tomato, chilli powder, chopped fine ginger, nutmeg powder, and cinnamon powder.

The Rock and Roll Process:
This is so simple. Get one of your pots on top of your stove, and turn on low heat. Throw in all of your ingredients, and one tablespoon of each spice. Let that come to a simmer, turn it off, and let it cool down. Now in a blender, or one of those stick blenders, mix it all together. Heat back up again, and that is it. Keep it in your fridge for about a week, or in a sterile jam jar for a couple of weeks. Just make as much as you need, do not have any waste. Other options is to use some ginger, liquid smoke, cumin, or just experiment as you cannot go wrong. This BBQ sauce costs a fraction of store bought BBQ sauces.

It’s that Rock and Roll easy, have fun!

Fifteen Restaurant / London England

This is a Chef Jamie Oliver restaurant, quite well known to all foodies alike. I visited Fifteen several times, trying each meal service, ordering multiple dishes each sitting. From Breakfast to dinner, I’m able to give you an accurate account of the food served by Chef Jamie Oliver at Fifteen restaurant. I better inform you that I’m a Jamie Oliver fan. I have watched every foodie show he has presented us. I feel that “Jamie at Home” is one of his better works of art. On top of all of that I have most of Chef Oliver’s cookery books. I could not want anything more that to eat his food at his very own Fifteen Restaurant! Foodie Heaven!

In short, I have to tell you that I was really disappointed with every time that I visited Fifteen restaurant. The service was borderline rude, the presentation of the food on the plates looked as though the food was just thrown on the plate however it landed. The food was cooked poorly to a point of being over cooked in some cases to being undercooked for other dishes. The price is very high to a point that the price was not worth the food. Everyone is on a table clock where the waitress suddenly informed us that we had to leave our table because the next reservation was waiting for the table that we were sitting at.

If you have to go to Fifteen, then go for breakfast, and this might be the best value without having a table time. Thus as I guess you can gather, The Rock and Roll Chef does not recommend going to Fifteen restaurant. But remember, do go to Chef Gennaro Contaldo’s Passione Restaurant. You will be much more satisfied at Passione’s!

Rock and Roll Italy!

Passione Restaurant / London England

Restaurants seem to have a very simple way to rate each place, at least it is simple for the rock and roll chef. I’m go out in the first place for the food and service. The rock and roll chef only looks at the price when it comes to the food and the service. I do not mind if I have to pay more for great ingredients and a service level is beyond my expectation. It is just wrong when the food is not good, and the service in none.

I use:
- No Way (Never Return)
- OK (Could Return / But Might Not Return)
- Shidoobee (Great / Will Return)

Gennaro Contaldo was a native of the Amalfi coast in Southern Italy. Growing up in this beautiful and unspoilt part of the world, his was a boyhood of fishing, game hunting and picking wild herbs & mushrooms; quickly he developed a deep knowledge of nature and the outdoors. His passion for food coupled with an ability to create dishes from natural, simple ingredients has followed him throughout his career as a chef. His menu at Passione is full of natural, wild food, such as rocket, sorrel, fungi - many of these ingredients are collected by himself time permitting.

The owner Chef Gennaro Contaldo is a great Chef, his menu is just what you would want in an Italian menu. The food is cooked perfectly, presented professionally, and reasonably priced. The dining room is small with just a few tables, making an intimate dinner just that much more special. I highly recommend that when in London, you visit Passione Restaurant without fail. The presentation of Chef Gennaro Contaldo’s dishes are top class, with a reason.

Shidoobee!

When one walks into the delectable world of Borough Market in London England, you are thrown into the freshest, and highest quality food in the world.

Although The Wright Brothers supply all kinds of shellfish, their focus is oysters. They serve French but and English oysters from West Mersea, Scottish oysters from Cumbrae, and more recently another 24 different oysters from the Pacific Northwest. The Rock and Roll Chef / Awesome Hamburger

Awesome Hamburger Recipe

When it comes to food, The Rock and Roll Chef highly recommends that you try my Awesome Hamburger Recipe. Making a hamburger is one thing, but to make a rock and roll delight is another. I will show you here how to make the best hamburger you could ever make, and this recipe will change the way you make hamburgers forever. Please follow my step by step instructions. Again, do not be so concerned about quantities, if for one or for many, just decrease or increase the ingredients where needed. Have fun, and enjoy The Rock and Roll Chef’s Awesome Hamburger Recipe!

The Main Ingredients
:
Ground Beef / Minced Pork / Chopped Purple Onion / Cheese (any) / Two Eggs / Mushrooms / Hot Sauce / lemon Juice / Olive Oil

The Spices:
Paprika / Garlic / Onion / Cayenne Pepper / Black Pepper / Chervil / Salt / Mustard Powder

Get yourself a large mixing bowl for the bashing of all the ingredients. Add in the ground beef and the ground pork to the bowl. Add one teaspoon of each spice to the bowl. Do not worry if you throw in a little less, or throw in a little more. Crack two eggs to the top of all of that right in your mixing bowl. Be very careful not to get any eggshells in the bowl or you will be sorry. Do take care! Give your hands a good wash, remove all rock and roll rings, and mash everything together. Keep up the mashing with your hands, even through your fingers. When everything is well mixed together, then wash your hands again, we together will move onto the next step.

Prepare two pieces 12” x 12” of wax kitchen paper. Just get two sheets, there is no need to make any Rock and Roll waste. Then one each piece of the kitchen wax paper, make one each hamburger patty. Thin it out, and make it bigger than normal. Please do not be afraid, make each patty quite thin, about one quarter of an inch thick. Remember that sometimes less is best! On top of one of the patties, slice some cheese and place in the center of the patty. No worry, you can make one level of cheese, or go ahead and make two levels. There is no rule how little or how much cheese you add inside of your rock and roll burger. Take the other patty you made without the cheese and place on top of the patty with cheese. Don’t worry if the two patties do not exactly the same size as all will sort itself out when cooking. For the time being, leave the wax kitchen paper on the bottom and the top of your now formed hamburger.

Crimp the edge of your hamburger together, pressing quite firmly. Do not worry of some of the burger squishes around, we will fix that next. Then remove the top half of the wax kitchen paper. Use a clean fork to crimp and form your patty into a round, sealed patty. The cheese is safe inside, we are nearly ready to start rock and roll cooking. Turn on your grill or fry pan and get it heated up ready to cook.

Carefully place your burger on a hot grill or fry pan. Now don’t mess with it, leave it for about three to five minutes. Then turn it over, and leave it for another three to five minutes. If you like your burger well done, then repeat the process. When your burger is cooked to how you like it, then remove it to another plate to rest. Just think when we cook food, the food molecules are racing around just like Jerry Lee Lewis, so give your burger some time to calm down. You can even place a little more cheese on top, if you really like cheese. While your burgers are resting, slice and fry your mushrooms on a hot fry pan with melted butter and olive oil. It’s time to rock and roll eat!

Build your rock and roll hamburger with all the fixings you like, and use any kind of bread you like. Yes, you can toast the bread, or don’t toast the bread. Take that first bite but be careful, as the melted cheese flows out from your burger like magic, the cheese is hot. In fact, your cheese will stay hot while you eat your Awesome Rock and Roll Hamburger. Do enjoy as I’m sure that you will say that this is the very best hamburger you have ever had in your life.

The Rock and Roll Chef yells “Enjoy”!

The Rock and Roll Chef / Beef Burritos

Beef Burrito Recipe

The Rock and Roll Chef is truly excited to present to you my take on my rock and roll burrito! This is really an easy dish to make. Do not worry or be scared as there is little chance to mess this burrito up. In fact the more you make this dish, the better you will get at making my rock and roll burrito. I will take you through the step by step recipe to impress your family and friends with all of your chef skills. If you do not have some of the ingredients, then again don’t worry. Pick up ingredients along the way. Here I’m making a beef burrito, but you could also try, chicken, fish, shrimp, and pork. Have on your favorite rock and roll music, and let’s get cooking!

Let’s together walk through the ingredients for The Rock and Roll Chef’s rocken burritos. Sometimes I will not inform you of the quantity needed as I want you to just give it a try. It also depends how many people you will feed! Put your fry pan on the hob, and turn to low hear with a splash of olive oil, heat till hot.

The Main Ingredients:
Ground Beef / Chopped Purple Onion / Grated (any) Cheese / Tomato Sauce / Hot Sauce / Lemon Juice / Olive Oil

The Spices:
Paprika / Garlic / Onion / Cayenne Pepper / Black Pepper / Chervil / Salt / Mustard Powder

Fry off your ground beef, add in your onions, add in your tomato sauce, add in your spices, and fry all that till well done. Be sure that there is no liquid left in the fry pan, so if there is a bit left, then just fry a little longer. Turn on your grill to heat it up, clean and dry off your cutting board. We are getting ready to build our Rock and Roll Burrito very soon.

Place two burrito shells on your hot grill, and fry for about two minutes on each side. Place the shells on your clean and dry cutting board, overlapping the shells. Spoon on your cheese in the middle of the shells, leaving the shells clean so that we can fold the burrito. Spoon on your ground beef mixture on top of the cheese. We are getting there, now I’m really hungry!

Spoon on your onions on top of the beef, then spoon on any hot sauce on top of the onions. We are ready now! Fold in the side of your burrito shells, then fold over the shell closest to you. Just one more step to go!

Roll your burrito over to enclose all of those delightful ingredients inside. That cheese is melting inside right now. Plate your burrito and top with a tablespoon of hot sauce. Now you are ready to Rock and Roll eat!
