The Taormina Sicilian restaurant is located on the stylish Waikiki Bach Walk. These few blocks are packed full of trendy restaurants, and shopping boutiques. The sidewalks are lined with flaming tiki lamps, offering a romantic walk, with many choices to grab one in. We were greeted at the door and promptly taken to our table. One notices the walls with a fresh white paint, and an open kitchen. Many chefs were working hard at their hobs, the chairs were comfortable. We chose the seating inside as I wanted to see the open kitchen at work. They do have a covered outside patio if one wishes to enjoy the warm Waikiki trade winds.
The service was friendly, and the background music was playing just right. We placed our drink orders, and were getting hungry with the smell of fresh food being prepared in the open kitchen just near our table. We were having a great time looking back at our day on Waikiki beach. This is what eating out is all about, enjoying a moment together. The cold Hawaiian beer I had ordered was just right!
Our food arrived and everything was presented first class. The food was hot, and cooked just right. We both finished our plates having a wonderful time together. I would highly recommend that you dine at The Taormina Sicilian Restaurant. Sicilian food is good family food,being around a table with friends or family. It’s good food, great service, at a reasonable price. Then afterwards, that stroll one more time around the Waikiki Beach Walk, is a romantic end to a wonderful meal. Good food, good company, a romantic setting, it just does not get better than that. Foodie heaven! Aloha!
