C Bar / Lan Kwai Fong Hong Kong

Although the C Bar is not a restaurant, I feel that I must make a special mention of bars where all are welcome. This is a small bar that is usually packed later in the evenings. Opening at 9:00am most mornings, the C Bar is a wonderful little coffee shop by day, and a full bar at night. Bar refreshments are available all day for those who may arrive in Hong Kong being on different time zones.

This is a local bar where tourists are most welcome. The C Bar is on street level, thus the people watching factor is very high. The warm and friendly staff will welcome you with a smile, and everyone speaks perfect English. In fact the staff speak several languages at The C Bar. I have seen them help with directions for our visitors, and offer good chat for all. The C Bar is part of a local group who also runs several restaurants. Thus just ask for a menu, and the foodie world is yours. In the evening the C Bar also serves many bar snacks for free during Happy Hour (5:00pm to 9:00pm) daily.

The Rock and Roll Chef really like The C Bar! They play all kinds of music, day and night. They also play all important sports games on a big screen. This is a great place to hook up with friends, or meet new friends. The fresh made hot coffee is a great start to any day, and at a reasonable price. I recommend a visit to the C Bar during happy hour if one needs their favorite alcoholic beverage where the price is two for one.
